The company’s product methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is a high-octane (research method octane number 115) gasoline additive with a much lower chemical oxygen content than methanol, which is good for warming up cars and saving fuel. The latent heat of evaporation is low, which is beneficial for cold start.

Product use:

It is often used in the blending of unleaded gasoline and low-lead oil, and can also be re-cracked into isobutylene, which is used as a raw material for rubber and other chemical products.
